The Do Not Enter Diaries: Olivia B.

DNED: Olivia B. from The Do Not Enter Diaries on Vimeo.

Despite the fact that Olivia has grown up in the atmosphere of her parents’ restaurant and the influence of her father’s culture (he’s French) and her mother’s (she’s Southern), Olivia is still just as happy living with the simple things in life. “If my room blew up, I wouldn’t care all that much…except I’d lose my computer,” Olivia says. Walking into her bedroom, opened lollipops and jars of candy punctuate each nook and cranny. Getting to see Olivia’s space was extremely refreshing. Where one might keep their clothes, Olivia keeps old gossip magazines and props from school drama productions, where she’s worked as part of the stage crew. Olivia’s humorous outlook on life is definitely evident in her seemingly-random bedroom design scheme. And yet, there’s a method to the madness: her hamper is where she keeps all of her favorite clean clothes for easy access and her most prized possession, her rubber-band ball, is safely stored away in the highest corner of her room.
