Maya uses diaries and scrapbooking as a way to catalog her life. With a librarian for a mother she’s able to find and refurbish old books into new art and notebooks to fill her space. Her mixed-media journals are like catalogs of her memories. She tries to always stay inspired by filling her space with fashion magazines cut-outs from art class and even her own x-rays. Her style is a jumble of flower crowns, glitter, and creativity, just like her bedroom. Her room’s aesthetic is a great representation of her personality and love for art and fashion.
